About the Trainer

Hello, My name is Basheer Abhary. I graduated from Hashemite University with bachelor degree in Financial Economics also i am a CMA and CRMA holder. I am an ambitious and motivated individual with broad skills and a total 8 years of experience in managing risk ,compliance, policies & procedures and controls. I am committed to learning and self-development so that I can consistently achieve better results. I work as a Risk & Compliance Manager at IMDAD-a subsidiary of INVESTBANK. I have developed and created many policies and procedures for my current company regarding risk management, compliance, internal audit, credit risk, organizational chart, corporate governance, compliance, authority matrix and committees. Also I have implemented a new reporting system in coordination with IT department which is currently used to extract and build reports required under IFRS 9 standard. Further more on regular basis I provide training to employees on all risk and compliance matters and updating them on any new regulations, laws and instructions. In volunteering domain I serve as an active member in Professional and Admin Committees which support JAMA (The Jordan Association For Management Accountants) BOD in building a professional society in Jordan that will support Accountants and Finance Managers by focusing on the ingredients of becoming successful financial leaders such as; technical knowledge, capabilities & skills, leadership talents and professional relationships. Now that I am a CMA and CRMA holder with more than 300 continuous professional educations hours I feel well prepared to move to the next level in my career path and provide training in the domains I love most which are risk, P&Ps and controls.
