About the Trainer
I am the former president of the Institute of Internal Audit - IIA Jordan Chapter, a vice president of the Jordan Association of Management Accountants (JAMA- IMA Jordan Chapter), a board member of Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA Amman Chapter), and a board member of Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE Jordan Chapter). I am currently working as a Chief Internal Audit Officer at Middle East Payment Services - MEPS.
I have over 16 years of experience with the Big Audit firms and other international companies in the field of External Audit, Internal Audit, Compliance, Risk Management, in addition to Accounting Advisory Services. I also led major advisory projects including Anti-Money Laundering reviews, fraud investigation and Business Continuity Plan. I am one of the leading instructors in Jordan and in the region in delivering CPA, CMA, CIA, and JCPA designations and short courses.
I graduated from Yarmouk University with BA in “Accounting “as a major,“Banking And Finance Sciences” as a minor. I hold MSc in Accounting from Yarmouk University. I hold nine professional certificates : (CPA) from the State of Michigan, (CMA & CFM) from IMA U.S.A, (CIA & CRMA) from IIA U.S.A, (JCPA) from Jordan Association of Certified Public Accountant, (CISA & CDPSE) from ISACA U.S.A, and (CFE) from ACFE U.S.A. I am fully aware of the importance of the continuous need for improvement to maintain my certifications achieved mainly through working towards earning and reporting Continuing Professional Education (CPE).
