About the Trainer

 I am a certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration, with a solid software engineering background. During my career, I worked virtually with different multi-cultural teams and worked on-site in fourteen countries across Africa and the Middle East, I played different roles as a software engineer, testing, developing and reverse engineering IBM products and many open-source frameworks. I also specialized in modernizing legacy monolithic applications to modern J2EE applications, and starting from 2016, I focused on digital transformation, design thinking, cloud computing and DevOps. During my career as a Digital Transformation specialist, I contributed in architecture workshops to build the digital transformation strategy and later, I build production private PaaS (Kubernetes based) and install and configure monitoring components (Prometheus and Grafana), Logging components (ELK), Services Catalog (Docker Images), Istio and Calico, IaaC (Ansible, Chef and Terraform), I understand the internal components of PaaS and how they operate and communicate with each other, I understand the responsibilities of DevOps and SRE roles, different techniques of problem solving and incident management and runbook automation.
