About the Trainer

I am informatics, UX, and customer experience, and a climate change research expert with 15 + years of experience working in the USA, UK, and Saudi Arabia in research, product development, project management, leadership, strategic planning, digital transformation, and coaching as evidenced by 12 publications and 3 automated systems related to human services, healthcare, and climate change.

Outside of the office, I enjoy water sports and activities, nature, and traveling. I have a solid understanding of both business and technology strategies with a principled approach to digital transformational challenges and opportunities including strong leadership and people skills evidenced by supervising/mentoring 30 students’ teams on their senior/capstone automation projects of more than 30 SMEs – each team of 4-5 students – to automate solutions for real-world problems in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, catering, education, etc.

My demonstrated abilities to develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with thought leaders are evidenced by developing and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with four engineering programs advisory boards, program committees, local, national, and international partners, and accreditation bodies (national and international). I am a professional project manager with expertise in working collaboratively and cross-functionally with other in-field members while retaining functional independence and global teams management evidenced by planning and executing 11 research and educational community engagement events and activities including; 3 international conferences, 3 science fairs, 3 robotics competitions, 1 programming competition, and 1 NASA space hackathon.

My excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills and proven ability to deliver credible presentations on scientific matters to key opinion leaders, individually or in groups are evidenced by delivering over 25 speeches in cutting edge technological topics as keynote speaker, invited speaker, and opening speaker.  My proven abilities to understand, integrate, and communicate complex scientific concepts and in-depth scientific knowledge are evidenced by educating, mentoring, training, and coaching more than 2600 students, and new staff and faculty members in the college of engineering. In addition to my three times nominations for the best teacher award.
